An Introduction to Krav Maga Core
Krav Maga Core is an international training and accreditation system developed by Haim Sasson and Amnon Darsa, two of the most accomplished Krav Maga and martial arts authorities in the world.
Haim Sasson is a Master in martial arts and Krav Maga, with over 40 years of experience including black belts in multiple systems. He has a direct lineage to Krav Maga’s creator and founder, Imi Lichtenfeld, having received his black belt from Imi and training with Imi’s original students. Haim is also the foremost student of Martial Arts Grand Master Jim Keenan, a confidant and peer of Imi and the man responsible for many of Krav Maga’s ‘trademark’ exercises such as the zombie drills.
Amnon Darsa is indisputably one of the world’s greatest Krav Maga professionals. Amnon started training in Krav Maga when he was just thirteen years old, and from 1988 was the protégé of Eyal Yanilov, Imi’s closest and most trusted student. Amnon has spent almost a decade working as the lead global instructor in Krav Maga and has developed an unmatched expertise in all sectors, with particular emphasis in military, law enforcement, special weapons and training, and executive protection.
If you have been involved with Krav Maga previously and are interested in knowing more about Krav Maga Core, then you probably know of either Amnon or Haim. You may have had the privilege of training with one or maybe even both of them, and maybe even did your Instructor’s qualification with them. If so, you know you are among good company for Krav Maga expertise and will be working with decent, honourable people.
You might also be aware that Haim has been working for more than 2 years developing and delivering a children’s safety and self-defence program called Dynamight Kids throughout Australia. This program is a break-through, first-of-its-kind program that can take ‘Krav Maga’ to the masses and is a ticket to expanding Krav Maga around the world, from the ground up.
Now, with genuine respect between them, and a synergy of expertise, Amnon and Haim have joined forces to create Krav Maga Core.
